We love the mechanized ski world just as much as the quiet human-powered escapes, nordic (XC) skiing, on-piste, and everything in between.
Alpine

Rock
There is no better feeling than looking back up at an objective you have dreamed about climbing for years with the satisfaction of knowing you safely and efficiently stood on top! From introductory climbing instruction, learn to lead climb clinics, to multi-pitch routes and desert towers.
Ice
Initially intimidating, ice climbing is an amazing, ever-changing, awe-inspiring natural medium. With modern equipment and expert laying advice and clothing, a day out in the middle of winter when the snow is not good for skiing is a perfect time to swing some ice tools. Southwestern Colorado is home to some of the world’s most accessible single-pitch and multi-pitch backcountry ice in the world.
Consulting
An avalanche professional since 2011 with experience spanning explosive delivery systems for avalanches, ski operation development and management, and involvement with over a dozen ski operations worldwide, public avalanche forecasting, and event planning and forecasting. Experience and conservative decision-making are critical, while still maximizing potential and successful operations. Ian also is an instructor from avalanche awareness courses, AIARE and AAI Level 1, 2, and Pro level courses up to PRO 2.
